Connecting Bexio to your CRM: no more double entry between sales and accounting
· 1 min read · Alec Jaccard
Sales works in the CRM, accounting in Bexio, and someone copies between the two. Here's how to make them talk to each other automatically.

It's a very common situation at SMEs: sales are tracked in a CRM, invoicing and accounting in Bexio. In between, someone copies over new clients, addresses and accepted quotes. The result: wasted time and data that never quite matches.
Bexio offers an API, and so do most CRMs. So it's possible to make them work together.
1. Choose the master system for each kind of data
Before connecting anything, decide which system is the reference. Typically:
- contacts and leads start in the CRM
- a client who signs is created automatically in Bexio
- invoices and payments stay in Bexio
- payment status flows back to the CRM
This rule prevents conflicts and duplicates.
2. Sync contacts
When a deal moves to "won" in the CRM, the client is created or updated in Bexio with the right address, language and payment terms. No more client records retyped by hand.
3. From quote to invoice
The products and amounts of the closed deal can automatically generate a quote or draft invoice in Bexio. Accounting checks and sends it, without retyping line items.
4. Feed payments back
When an invoice is paid in Bexio, that information flows back to the CRM. The salesperson knows at once whether the client is up to date before reaching out about a new deal.
Which tools?
For simple cases, platforms like Make or n8n are enough. For more complex rules or higher volumes, a small custom connector is more reliable and easier to maintain.
Atech builds this kind of connection between Bexio and your SME's tools. The free audit maps your data flows and picks the simplest approach.
